The best honey from North Georgia.

Our story

Henning Honey started as a way for me to have my own kind of farm here in the city. Growing up, my dad kept bees, so I spent plenty of time around hives without really realizing how special they were. Years later, when I decided I wanted to raise something of my own and stay connected to the land, beekeeping just felt like home. Having my dad to call when something went wrong made the early days a lot less intimidating, and a lot more meaningful.

My favorite part of beekeeping hasn’t changed since I first started. It’s the sound. There’s something steady and calming about the hum of a hive. Watching the bees working together, flying in and out with pollen on their legs, reminds me that even small things can build something good if they do it together and keep going.

I keep some hives right here at my home in Lilburn, but most of them are placed on local farms where the bees have room to forage and plenty of wildflowers to choose from. Working with farmers and being part of the local landscape is important to me. The bees get what they need, the farms benefit from pollination, and we all get to share in the results.

When you open a jar of Henning Honey, I hope it brings to mind something simple and familiar. Maybe honey on warm toast at breakfast, or the smell of late summer in a field. Just real honey, made by real bees, in the place we call home.

Thanks for being here. It means a lot to support small, local beekeepers. You’re helping keep healthy bees on the landscape, and that matters.

Our Mission

At Henning Honey, we care for our bees with respect and intention. We keep our hives on small local farms where the bees can forage naturally, and we harvest in small batches to preserve flavor and purity. When you choose our honey, you’re supporting local beekeeping and a healthier landscape for pollinators here in Georgia.
